Here I am selling the holy grail of my record collection!!!

This is the first press of the Misfits “Bullet” single released on Plan9 Records in June 1978. Complete with the original Lyric-Sheet!

Record, Cover and Inlay have been kept in 3 separate plastic protection sleeves (non-smoker household).

As there have been official and bootleg re-pressings and various fanclub-editions please see the details below and check out the photos. This is 100% the real deal!

Cover: The Cover is in great condition except a tear off (from price sticker?) above JFK´s Head

Silk-Screened Gatefold Sleeve. “Distributed by Ork” on Back-Cover. The Cover has a matt white ground colour with black and red ink silk-screened over. Inside the Cover you can see some very small red colour spots that came through while printing it. Under the light you can see that the black behind the red colour of the explosion on JFKs Head is printed in a different black than the rest of the background.

Record: The record is in very good condition. You can see some surface scuffs that do not effect playing the record at all. Both sides play perfect except one slight crackle that you can hear (if you play it loud) on the beginning of the song “Attitude” one short time.

There are 4 Intro-grooves before the song “Bullet” starts. The center-labels are glossy and show some minor wear on the edges.

Handwritten Matrix etchings are as follows

Side A: “SP-1001-A” “MISFITS” “RICH FLORES”

Side B: “SP-1001-B” “MISFITS” “R. F.”

Lyric-Sheet: The Sheet is in absolute great condition!

As this sheet of paper is 30 years old, it is not bright shining white anymore. But except the ground-colour it is like new. Just some minor creases around the lines where the paper is folded. No tears, holes or spots! It says “the DIRT´S gonna be…” and not “DIN´T” as the bootleg sheet. The Misfits Logo is black. The hole in JFK´s head is black.
