This auction item is :   Rare Limited Edition 1991 HOT ROD MUSIC COMPILATION on (2) MAGNIFICENT PICTURE DISCS  "CHROME, SMOKE & FIRE"  on Two 12" 33rpm Picture Discs (4 different pics) on the BLAST FIRST Records Label ( Made in the U.K. ) ( # FU8 ) performed by  VARIOUS ARTISTS ( Chronologically arranged from 1946 to 1987... some of the Artists are: Ramblin' Jimmy Dolan, Bill Haley, Four Jokers, Roy Tann, The Collins Kids, Charlie Ryan, Mr. Gasser & The Weirdos, The Four Speeds, Ronny & The Daytons... and many, many more! See listings below for complete names and titles. ) Records and cover are in MINT / MINT  (record/sleeve) condition and plays like brand new... except some recording anomolies from tracks that were mastered fron vinyl (read liner notes)...
Comes in Beautiful original foldout LP cover with a mylar plastic outer sleeve for protection (see scan)

NOW OUT OF PRINT... This is probably the most beautiful double album ever made:
2 picture discs, and a front cover on both sides,and thee coolest music
inside! This is perhaps the best use of art and music in one package.
Robert Williams has always been a fanatic about cars,art, and music
and this is perhaps the best testament to that music from any artist.
I'm a fan of his art first... It's wild, it's freaky, it's packed full of color,
and some incredible images. Art and music are a natural together.
Blend the two, great music, and shocking powerful art, and you have
a hit on your hands. I'm surprised that more bands and labels don't think
about that more often when they unleash their releases onto us. I can
only imagine this is wildly out of print,and hard to find, so that's why it's
here to enjoy. Why it was never re-issued is beyond me.
