Description

Minor Threat 7"EP Final Pressing (Blue) Dischord MINT Never been played, in plastic bag since it was made DESCRIPTION: Absolutely MINT condition copy of 4th and final pressing of Minor Threat's 1st 7" EP, originally released in June 1981. Dischord No. 3, Dischord Records, Washington, DC.  Only 2,000 copies were pressed of this 4th pressing.  Black vinyl record, silver labels, in white paper inner sleeve, housed in thick blue paper sleeve.  Record includes folded lyric sheet.
This Minor Threat record has 8 songs: "Filler", "I Don't Wanna Hear It", "Seeing Red", "Straight Edge", "Small Man, Big Mouth", "Screaming At A Wall", "Bottled Violence", and "Minor Threat." Produced by Minor Threat, Mixed by Skip Groff. Recorded by Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia (on 4-track tapedeck, in the basement of his house).
I am not going to sell many more copies of this record, so this may be your last chance to get such a dead mint copy.
CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  This record is in absolutely mint condition, but as is very common with early Dischord 7" which were all folded and glued by hand while watching TV, there is a tiny bit of dried glue on the lower left corner of the back cover, over "Filler" (see photo).  This record has never been played, and has been kept in a plastic sleeve away from light and dust since it was made  27 or 28 years ago.  Good luck finding another copy in such pristine condition.  This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1982 or 1983 whenever it was pressed.  It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."  Please see my auction for lots of other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......
PAYMENT: Ohio Residents add 6.75% Sales Tax to item total (not shipping).  Payment by PayPal only, says eBay.  Please pay within 3 days of auction end.
SHIPPING: This record is pretty darn valuable, so I will pack it between thick cardboard and then put it inside a bigger box.  Within USA, Priority Mail will be calculated based on where you live, and on top of that I'm afraid I have to add $9.05 in "handling costs" ($ 2.35 for Signature Confirmation, and $6.70 for insurance.  eBay now requires that the seller (me) provide insurance, so I am also adding 6.70, which is my guess as to what the Post Office will charge me).  I will only charge you what actual postage, signature confirmation and insurance works out to be.  If it's less, I'll give you a refund.  If it's more, I'll pay for it.  Outside of USA, reasonable Airmail rates apply. I'll be happy to give you a quote for postage to your country.  International buyers: I WILL SEND YOU AN E-MAIL INVOICE WITH YOUR TOTAL AND SHIPPING OPTIONS. PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL FROM ME.  If you might bid on some other flyers I have up for auction, just let me know - I'll be happy to combine shipping, and in so doing save you money, me effort, and the Earth trees... Thanks for looking!
REFUNDS:  I guarantee 100% the authenticity of everything I am selling, and strive to describe the condition of items as accurately as possible.  I will only accept returns if you have e-mailed me first and I have agreed to refund your money.
EXCITING LIST OF SEARCH WORDS: Inebriated Cartoon Bully, UHU ! dried up glue, baldheadedness.
EXCITING SCREEDS FOR YOU TO READ:  ANTI-WAR: I think the U.S. should get out of both Iraq and Afghanistan.  Our troops have done the best they can - many have paid with their lives - but we have screwed up both countries immeasurably and our staying for year after year only delays the vacuum our inevitable withdrawal will create.  One cannot "win" a war of occupation, ESPECIALLY in lands where one does not understand the local languages, culture, or religions.  Afghanistan has worn down invading armies far larger than ours - Alexander the Great struggled mightily there, the British were wiped out in the 1840s and fared no better in the 1870s, and the Soviets had their "Vietnam" there in the 1980s.  It's terrible what our policies have done in the Middle East, but our staying is making things worse.  We should declare "victory" and leave......  Payment by PayPal only (eBay rules). Please pay within 3 days of auction end.  335 (GS 5.5 (335))
