47 West 63rd St address on 1 label and 767 Lexington Ave. on the other label, deep groove. 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. The record has "RVG" and the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax. Davis, trumpet on all tracks. 11 total tracks include 2 alternate masters. 1 track plus the 2 alternate takes also include J.J.Johnson, trombone; Jimmy Heath, tenor sax; Gil Coggins, piano; Percy Heath, bass; Art Blakey, drums from 1953. 2 tracks also include Johnson, trombone; Jackie McLean, alto sax; Coggins, piano; Oscar Pettiford, bass; Kenny Clarke, drums from 1952. 6 tracks also include Horace Silver, piano; Heath, bass; Blakey, drums fro 1954.
Cover: VG to VG+ 1" split on the top edge at the insert edge. Name of previous owner writtnen at the top edge margin of the back cover. Light aging on the front and bvack cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 1 or 2 tiny surface rub marks. These do not effect the sound. Possibly played only a very few times and handled with care. No surface noise. fine condition. Plays like new. I have added the (-) as the record has been previously playd and there may be 1 or 2 clicks. Audibly checked.
