Description
Miles Davis - 'The Musings of ' was released in 1955 on the Prestige record label ( PRLP 7007 ) This listing is for the 1962 re-issue renamed 'The Beginning'. Though often over-looked, it contains some of Miles's finest work from his early days. The music is spontaneous, carefree, and splendidly engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Excellent(+)....a beautiful example of this robust and sturdy front laminated jacket. Perfect spine...no issues at the back; just some inoffensive entrance wear. In fact, most collectors would readily admit that the cover is worth the asking price alone.
Condition of the Record: Good+/- .....plays better than it looks. Most of the record plays G+~ G++....and sometimes even a grade above. But there are 2 or 3 moments to both sides where some surface noise and a few ticks take it below this grade. An acceptable and affordable playing copy of this rare pressing. Side A label has a name written in pen.
