Mega Rare LP of Miles Davis - The Original Quintet (Prestige 7254 - mono) Original yellow and black labels with Bergenfield address, deep groove and RVG on both sides. Rare LP from Miles' earliest Prestige years also features John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in strong VG+/Near Mint condition with minimal marks (not worth mentioning) and most if not all of the original shine - not quite for the audiophile, but pretty darned close - remarkable for one of these. The cover is in VG+ condition with light general age/shelf wear and a name written on the back (not bad) and also an original stamp on the back. NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers. You can keep looking, but you'll have a hard time finding a better copy than this one.
