Over the next several months we have the pleasure of listing a spectacular vinyl collection of over 6000 LP's. This collection consisting of mostly Jazz but also Blues, Folk ,Rock, Soundtracks and Classical was kept in amazing condition. Most of the records were played once, transferred to tape for listening and then stored away in cliplock sealed bags in specially made cupboards. The overall condition of this collection is sublime to say the least and whatever items I list as Near Mint you can be assured that it was probaly only ever played once!! Over the last few weeks you may have noticed some of the lovely jazz & rock titles I have listed, these are just the tip of the iceberg here. I hope you enjoy seeing these listings as much as I have in offering them.

This LP is an interesting hodgepodge of Miles Davis recordings. Davis is heard with his classic 1955-56 quintet playing "Sweet Sue" and "Budo," with large orchestras performing "Jazz Suite for Brass" and "Three Little Feelings" (early third-stream works that put the spotlight totally on Davis's fluegelhorn), on a couple of odd tracks from 1962 with vocalist Bob Dorough ("Devil May Care" and "Blue Xmas") and, most significantly, on four numbers arranged by Michel Legrand for an 11-piece group in 1958 that also feature altoist Phil Woods, John Coltrane and pianist Bill Evans. Worth searching for, this set will fill gaps in many collections.

Tracks: Devil may care/ Blue Xmas (to whom it may concern)/ Budo/ Sweet Sue/ Three little feelings/ Jitterburg waltz/ Round midnight/ Wild man blues/ Django/ Jazz suite for brass.

There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Record is stunning and in Near Mint condition. Gloss cover with back flaps is like new and in Near Mint condition.
