Description

Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" VERY EARLY PRESSING 1959 mono Six-Eye label+ misprints

This is a rare very early pressing (August-November 1959 likely closer to August) of the best-selling and one of the most influential records ever.

This is not only a deep groove Six-Eye Columbia label CL 1355 mono copy with the 'correct' misprints of Cannonball "Adderly's" name on front and back covers - a misprint Columbia did not correct for years - and the reversed track order on the back cover but also the rarer misprint of reversed track order on the LP label itself.  Some misprints of the LP simply date it within the first few years of release, but this confirms it was from the first few months, a 1959 pressing.

Additionally the matrix numbers on this LP are quite early XLP47325-1B / XLP47324-1AC implying this copy was a first pressing of the mono available to the public likely in the early end of the period August-November 1959.

If this listing looks familiar it's because it was listed a few weeks ago and the winning bidder failed to pay for it.  You have a second chance!

Happy to answer any questions as best as I can.  Thanks and happy bidding!
