Description
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue - Vinyl LP, Album, Mono
Media has many marks, Surface noise throughout, Some areas are more heavier than others, Loud run into tracks, Occasional Pop, Loud crackle in most areas, No Skips - Grade G (Good)
Sleeve has discolouration/stains from age, Small split on opening top & bottom, Edge wear, Storage wear, Writing in green pen on the back top right corner, Creasing and slight ring wear - Grade F (Fair)
It is possible this is the first press or a repress, This LP has details of both issues:
This LP has "33 1/3 r p m on both side of labels and AA 682 059 1L / AA 682 059 2L - Same as first pressThis LP has Side 1 & Side 2 printed on labels - Same as RepressThis LP has Made in England on both side of labels - Same as First pressThe Sleeve does not have printed and made in great Britain on the back - Same as RepressThe Sleeve does not have howards logo in bottom right hand corner on the back - Same as RepressThe Sleeve does not have the catalogue number and kind of blue - miles davis on the back - Same as Repress
Second UK issue with laminated front cover and "33 1/3" on label and printed side numbers.
First issue is Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue with "33 1/3 r p m" and no side numbers indications on label.
Labels are almost identical to the mono Fontana UK 2nd issue Kind Of Blue:
- "33 1/3 r p m" instead of "33 1/3" and different font
- "AA 682 059 1L" / "AA 682 059 2L" instead of "682 059 1L" / "682 059 2L" respectively
- "KIND OF BLUE" appears below spindle hole, instead of above
- Perimeter text ends with "MADE IN ENGLAND" instead of at "...COPYING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED"
Unique to this version's labels:
- Missing "Side 1" and "Side 2" text
Sleeve is very similar to stereo Fontana UK 1st issue Kind Of Blue:
- Includes "Printed and made in Great Britain" and Howards logo in bottom-right corner on back of sleeve
- Catalogue numbers and "KIND OF BLUE - MILES DAVIS" along right edge on back of sleeve(by spine)
