Description
An original sealed “Uncorrected” side 2 label and 1st print jacket. 1st “deep-groove” pressing, without the added “CBS” that started in 61’. The disc is beautifully and totally sealed (60’ to 61’ years sealed I may add). The record shows no damage or warping through the bag. A rare antiquity, and a piece of true music history. The runouts carry the original matrix etchings of 1BB & 1D. This was pressed at the Terre Haute plant in Indiana. Columbia Matrix Codes – case study: “Kind of Blue”
The record was found with it’s original sleeve. Although quite well preserved, the front and rear slicks have a few blemishes. There is some hard to see discreet writing on the front, and some minor storage flaws on the back.
