Miles Davis COOKIN' Bergenfield mono LP E+
Miles Davis (with Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones, John Coltrane, Paul Chambers) COOKIN’ Prestige 7094, recorded 1956. Mono Yellow-and-black deep groove Bergenfield LP. RVG stamped into wax of both sides.Bergenfield addresses on jacket as well. Glossy wrap-around jacket is NM-: unhandled. Has one rubber stamp from warehouse on reverse, and one drop of coffee-spill residue on front—removable. Disc was never played before my review for this posting: very tight on the spindle. Noise floor is very good, and sound quality is very sharp, but occasional low-level sharp crackles are part of it, mostly on A-1. Plays E+ overall. One pressing flaw shows as a lump on B-2 and a small gentle crater system on A side. Audible on B side as a soft pop for about 5 revolutions out of 10.
Seventeenth offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year. Most of these items have had one owner and one play, have not left the original house of the collector since purchase. You'll find that they're so clean that there's not much to say about them--but of course descriptions are thorough, accurate and guaranteed. Bid with confidence. Shipping at cost, as usual.
Please note: International shipping will be via DHL Parcel Standard service: This service is not fast, but it is inexpensive and very trustworthy. We ship DHL once or twice a week, so there can be a small lag depending on when you make payment. We can also provide tracking numbers but DHL service does not activate the tracking data until the parcel reaches the country it is being mailed to. Thanks for bidding if you are willing to accept these conditions.
