Mikey Dread "At The Control Dubwise", original 1979 Jamaican issue on Mikey Dread's Dread At The Control label, there were two pressings of this record, this is the noticeably heavier pressing that although I'm not 100% sure I believe is the very first press.

Visually the A side has light scuffing the B side has light scuffing and two very light scratches. this is a typical late 1970s Jamaican pressing with some obvious pits in the vinyl and some surface noise issues that can be put down to the pressing.

Play Grading

1. Plays excellently with just a touch of surface noise.
2. Plays excellently with minimal surface and one tiny pop.
3. Plays excellently with very slight surface noise due to the pressing.
4. Plays very well, slight surface noise and a touch of crackle.
5. Plays extremely well with minimal surface noise.
6. Plays very well, just a little crackle and a few tiny pops at the end.
7. Slight surface noise at the start, plays with very slight surface noise.
8. Plays excellently, minimal surface noise.
9. Plays extremely well, very slight surface noise and just a little crackle.
10. Plays extremely well, minimal surface noise.
11. Plays very well, slight surface noise and one tiny pop.

The sleeve has light wear to the edges and corners, a few small creases, very slight sticker damage to the top right and a sticker on the rear, (this should be easy to remove with solvent).

Both labels are for side B and one has slight damage.

Sound Clips

Records play graded on a Michell Orbe deck fitted with a Techno Arm and a Van Den Hul MC2 cartridge..Records professionally cleaned on a VPI record cleaner.
