Description
Incredibly rare numbered private pressing of Mike Haynes’ 1973 LP, “Introducing”. Pressed at Deroy, Carnforth.
This recording of Mike’s covers is a must-have for serious folk collectors. I personally haven’t seen another copy of this record for sale anywhere in the past 5 years. Would make a great gift for that special folk fan in your life!
Vinyl is in VG condition with a very minor warp and some very minor surface marks but no scratches. Plays very well. Labels are Deroy (Carnforth), with side, artist and title filled in by hand with black ink (authentically smudged on the B-Side). Etched matrix numbers DER-968A/DER-968B.
Sleeve is made out of thick brown paper with copy sheets glued to either side bearing the cover image, track list and sleeve notes. As well as carrying the Star Sound catalogue number ‘SSM -1’, this sleeve is numbered “21”. There are no rips, tears, stains or ink marks, and the fold is intact, but the original tape used to hold the seams and cover the numbered paper stamp has come away over time.
There are a couple of tracks from this album online, but they have NOT been recorded from this copy.
