Description

snazzyann1 Store The Microphones "It was Hot, We Stayed In The Water" K Records, KLP 116, 2000 Pop-Up Cover, 1st edition

I am sad to let go of some of these Microphones/Mount Eerie records (including having recently auctioned off the cassette version of "Tests" and some of the early seven inches). See my other current auctions for what I have left from this awesome artist whom I've known personally since the 90's and have put many shows in for in the NW. This is the 1st edition gatefold version of "It Was Hot, We Stayed In The Water." The record is in good shape and plays perfectly. The gatefoldk still drops down perfect and is a beautiful collage of ocean waters and beaches. There is some wear in the bottom left of the sleeve and a long the top lip of the record, but you can see for yourself in the photos and I would still classify this rare edition of this amazing album as in good condition. Let me know if you have any questions! you can also email masarecords@gmail.com, if you want to get a hold of me quickly!
Please check my other auctions out for more RARE and EARLY northwest recordings from these artists and more: Death Cutie For Cutie, All-Time Quarterback, Mount Eerie, The Microphones, The Lonely Forest, Pearl Jam, Mad Season, Beat Happening, Tullycraft, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, 764-HERO, Damien Jurado, The Kissing Book and RARE, non-local releases from Elf Power, The Music Tapes, Bunnygrunt and many, many more!

"My friend is letting me sell these items on their eBay account, they're taking care of shipping and everything. My name is Matt Fu and I have been a DIY performer, promoter and activist for 15 years, 2/3 of that time spent in Bellingham. I have a local music radio show called The Corner  Pocket that has been around for 12 years, dedicated to music in and around Bellingham. I've also performed, toured and recorded as 1985, have a non-for-profit DIY label and I spent more than a decade putting on all-ages shows (I still do at a house venue in Seattle). I HATE having to sell these releases, especially the RARE local ones, as I consider myself an avid and vast archiver of local music. Getting something rid of some of these records hurts. But I am in a tough spot financially and am also trying to finally move back home to Bellingham... Thanks for your time.

Here is a message from my friend who is a trusted eBay seller about about shipping. They assure me that they ship safely to almost anywhere in the world, they are just watching their backs for the occassional scam artist:
