Condition: -As you can see in the 21 photos below, there are numerous marks on the records, BUT there is only one needle scratch, this is on side two (See the close-up photo of this in the 12th photo below), it is about 1/2 inch long, running between tracks three and four. There is ticking when playing through te scrtach, but no loud pops and no skipping, plays through fine.

All the other marks you see in the photos are marks fron the cheap paper sleeves this set came in. None of these affect the sound. No ticks or popping, and no skipping. All the marks look worse in the photos because of the bright lighting. I did this to make sure they showed in the photos. As I said, except for the one scratch, these are all light surface marks. The records and labels have shiny surfaces.

There is some background noise, but I am sure most if not all of this can be cleared up if the records are properly cleaned. I didn't clean the records. Besides this, the sound is wonderful. The set has been played, you can see the wear of the paper insert, looks like it has been read often, but except for having to put the records in the crappy sleeves, they look well cared for and carefully played, see close-ups below of the labels to see spindle.

The box is in good shape, no split corners, minor shelfware. Slightly curved, see last photo, but the lps are fine.

Overall, cosmetically, there is wear, but the music sounds wonderful, and a good cleaning should get rid of the background nosie. Only that one scratch to have to deal with.

As an example: Take the Priority Mail cost of sending from California (where I am) to New York two packages that each weigh exactly 2 pounds. The first box measures (in inches): 12x12x12, the second box measures 13x12x12. It will cost $7.50 to send the 12x12x12 inch box, but it will cost $25.05!!! to send the 13x12x12 inch box, even though they both weigh the same! Yikes! And if the box were bigger it could cost even more!

The reason I write this is to reassure you that I will always do my best to find the least expensive way of getting you your item. I will list the best shipping options available and I will use the smallest box that I can SAFELY package an item in, if it will save you money. (I pride myself on my packing, and I won't cut corners when it comes to careful packing. Check my feedback). This goes for foreign buyers as well as those in the USA.
