Description

If there were ever a more beautiful violin recording, I'd like to find it.  The pieces are wonderful, the playing exquisite, and the pressing superb! This disk is both good and bad news, the bad news first...there are tics, both recurring and scattered and some random noise in places, the good news is there are no skips or jumps and the music still comes through nicely with good sound. I would rate the record condition vg- and vg (side 1 and side 2) with an overall grade of vg. The scuffs and scratches seem to have originated from careless handling like leaving it laying around out of its jacket...rather than wear from usage and playtime. The overall listenability (if there is such a word) would be "good but annoying in spots".  The cover front and rear are nice but there is a damaged corner, upper spine and clear tape along upper seam, but tastefully done.

Note: The record (or cover) is not warped...that is the camera angle or lens curvature causing the illusion
