Description
This RARE collectible was originally released by MCA Records in 1982 under catalog number: MCA 70000. The set was released in very small quantity for a short period of time, and to my knowlege has never been released again. This special edition package includes a color poster and 24-page storybook in addition to the album which was produced by Quincy Jones with music by legendary composer, John Williams.
The package is in excellent condition, still shrink wrapped, with only slight wear on the bottom right corner, minor wrinkling in the plastic on the back, and a tear in the plastic near the bottom edge. The container itself is near mint.
On the front cover, a small red and white sticker reading "Sample Copy" indicates that this was a promotional package, given only to Radio.
The box set was given to me from the record company when I was working as the music director at a major radio station. Since then, I have kept the set in my personal collection, sealed in an airtight container in a smoke-free environment.
