Zum Verkauf steht eine extrem seltene Michael Jackson Picture Vinyl LP aus dem Jahr 1997 – offiziell als Blood on the Dance Floor – HIStory in the Mix gelabelt, tatsächlich aber eine Fehlpressung mit dem kompletten Dangerous-Album.

Diese Bootleg-Pressung stammt laut Discogs vom UK-Schwarzmarkt und trägt den Hinweis „Promo Only Edition – 1997“. Die LP wurde 1999 entweder über einen Shop (vermutlich Jackson Trader) oder als einer meiner ersten eBay-Käufe erworben. Da ich die reguläre BotDF-Vinyl bereits besaß, wurde diese Picture LP nie abgespielt und diente rein dekorativen Zwecken – sie hing bis 2009 in einem Bilderrahmen im Jugend- und später im Wohnzimmer.

Erst 2020 habe ich sie erstmals aufgelegt – und statt des erwarteten Remix-Albums spielte die LP das komplette Dangerous-Album ab. Die Laufzeit beträgt ca. 60 Minuten, einige Songs sind gekürzt oder mit Fade-Out versehen.

Optik & Druckfehler:
- „Blood On The Dancefloor“ statt „Blood On The Dance Floor“
- „Flye Tyme Remix“ statt „Flyte Tyme Remix“
- „History“ statt „HIStory“

Zustand:
- Nie abgespielt bis 2020, seitdem nur wenige Male gehört um Zustand und Länge der Songs zu prüfen
- (nur bei direkter Beleuchtung sichtbar) Spuren rund um das Mittelloch durch Rahmung
- Wenige kleine bis mittelgroße Kratzer (kaum sichtbar), keine Sprünge
- Typisches Knistern für Picture Discs, besonders am Anfang und Ende jeder Seite

Description (English):

For sale is an extremely rare Michael Jackson picture vinyl LP from 1997 – officially labeled as Blood on the Dance Floor – HIStory in the Mix, but actually a mispressing containing the full Dangerous album.

According to Discogs, this bootleg pressing originates from the UK black market and carries the note “Promo Only Edition – 1997.” The LP was purchased in 1999, either from a shop (likely Jackson Trader) or as one of my first eBay purchases. Since I already owned the regular BotDF vinyl, this picture LP was never played and served purely decorative purposes – framed until 2009 in my youth and living room.

It wasn’t until 2020 that I played it for the first time – and instead of the expected remix album, the LP played the full Dangerous album. Runtime approx. 60 minutes, with some songs shortened or faded out.

Visuals & Label Errors:
- “Blood On The Dancefloor” instead of “Blood On The Dance Floor”
- “Flye Tyme Remix” instead of “Flyte Tyme Remix”
- “History” instead of “HIStory”

Condition:
- Never played until 2020; only a few test plays since
- Visible marks around center hole from framing (only under direct lighting)
- Few small to medium scratches (no skips)
- Typical picture disc crackling, especially at the beginning and end of each side
