Michael Jackson acetate Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' RARE

No need to tell you how rare this item is. Probably one of only 3 or 4 in existence.

Of main interest is the b-side to this two-sided acetate, which features a duet between Michael Jackson and his brother Jermaine.

Here is an edited soundclip of 2.21 mins of the track. Total running time is 4.30.

I'm not sure if this version varies in any way to the version that was made commercially available.

"Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Too Good to Be True)" Is the title of a duet featuring brothers Jermaine and Michael Jackson, taken from Jermaine Jackson's 1984 album, which was called Jermaine Jackson in the U.S. and Dynamite in the U.K. and other countries. The song was nominated at the 1985 Grammy Awards for Best R & B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

The vocal version of "Tel Me I'm Not Dreamin" was on both the B-Side and 12" versions of Jermaine Jackson's single Do What You Do.

Acetate is in at least VG++ condition. There are no scratches as such but some light scuffs caused by taking in and out of the sleeve. There are a couple of light surface spots at the start of side two which cause light crackle (please listen to sound clip of the actual record where you can hear the part I am talking about), which seem to be pressing spots and one very light surface line which does not affect play. I'm just trying to be as articulate as possible. There are no skips or loud pops etc on either side. It's a very nice collectors piece and is a very loud cut, with ultra-powerful sound. As close to the original studio master that you can get.

Please note, I always remove records from main sleeve when packing to avoid seam splits during trasportation, unless the record is still sealed. I will happilly open the seal carefully at sellers request to remove from sleeve if desired. I use cruciform LP mailers (NOT envelopes) with multiple stiffeners for added safety. I have also started using corner protectors too :-)
