Description

Metallica--Puppet Masters on Studded Bracelet~Rare LP This auction is for the vinyl record from Metallica, titled, "Puppet Masters--Leather, Metal & Mace", released in 1986(Studded Bracelet Productions SE-3905). I found a website which had this record on it; including the cover picture. This was not made by a professional record label, but its a nice collectible for Metallica fans, who want everything. The vinyl is clean and shiny and grades between VG+ and VG++, with a couple of very light marks and a very slight warp. The warp is slight and does not affect the play, so the record is closer to VG++. The jacket grades VG+, with some slight wear. Also included is the original inner lyrics sleeve. This week I'm listing about 100 auctions for vinyl records; featuring mostly heavy metal and hard rock. I have some other Metallica records on auction this week. All of the auctions are all listed for the minimum bid price of just $.99, with no reserve. Have fun and feel free to "shop" on my account, to combine shipping. For U.S. orders, my shipping and handling cost for 1 record is $3.50 and for each record won after the first winner, I add 40 cents to the initial $3.50 cost. For non-U.S. orders, please check below for S & H charges before bidding. If interested in my other auctions, just click on the "view sellers other auctions" link near the top of this page to see the list.

  • SONGS: The record has 12 songs and is rarely listed on Ebay: Obligation and Anarchism, The Master Nature, Control Me, Don't Stop Rationalizing, A Wise And Honest Man, Retributive Spirit, Ego-Abolition, Yank My Chain and Rattle My Cage, Chunks, Nuggets & Broth Attorneys At Noise, Meat Your Master, Young Compromises For Soul Sucks and Goodbye Ideology. That's the record, good luck bidding!
  • CONDITION: Record: VG+ to VG++; Jacket: VG+
  • OTHER DETAILS: Before grading each record, I quickly clean each record(except when sealed), which helps me to grade accurately. I use a bright light and try to be as honest as possible with each auction I do, but if the winning bidder is not completely satisfied with their purchase, I offer a complete money back guarantee, and this includes both the winning bid and the s & h charges paid. Before packing, I'll make sure that all the records are in protective inner sleeves; either the original ones that they came in, or a new one that I'll provide. Also, I use a strong, professionally made 12 inch vinyl record box; plus 2 solid, cardboard pads for added protection for each order. Finally, when I receive payment, I'll send an e-mail to confirm that payment has arrived, and I will leave the buyer positive feedback right away. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. Good Luck!!!
  • U.S.A. SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS : Media Mail S & H is $3.50. For U.S. orders, each record won after the first winner, adds 40 cents for media mail shipping. Media mail usually takes about 4-7 days, but occasionally can take as long as 3 weeks. Priority shipping is still offered, but cost a lot more now. Priority has a price range for one record from $5.30 to $7 depending on how close to Albany, New York you live. Priority is fast, but very expensive now. Insurance is optional and adds $1.30. I've never had to use insurance, or had delivery problems, so I do not recommend it; except for higher priced records.
  • PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR U.S.A. BUYERS: I take all different forms of payment: Money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks, Paypal, Bidpay, and well concealed cash payments(not recommended, but accepted). For using Paypal, please make sure to make just one payment if you win multiple auctions, so that I don't get hit with multiple fees from Paypal. Send payment to my Paypal business account, which is raspaint@aol.com
  • NON-U.S.A. SHIPPING OPTIONS: I offer both air and surface shipping and buyers may win as many records as they want for combined savings. Air shipping is fast and takes about 1-2 weeks. Surface shipping is much cheaper, but very slow and takes anywhere from 4-10 weeks to arrive, as it is sent by boat.
  • CANADA: Air shipping charges for 1 record to Canada is $6.50. If combining the order for air shipping to Canada, each record won after the first winner adds $1.50 a record, so 2 records won cost $8.00, 3 records won cost $9.50, etc. Surface shipping charges for 1 record to Canada is $6. If combining the order for surface shipping to Canada, each record won after the first winner adds $1.25 a record, so 2 records won cost $7.25, 3 records won cost $8.50, etc.
  • JAPAN, AUSTRALIA and ASIA: Air shipping charges for 1 record to Japan, Australia and Asia is $13. If combining the order for air shipping to Japan, Australia or Asia, each record won after the first winner adds $2.50 a record, so 2 records won cost $15.50, 3 records won cost $18, etc. Surface shipping charges for 1 record to Japan, Australia and Asia is $7. If combining the order for surface shipping to Japan, Australia and Asia, each record won after the first winner adds $1.50 a record, so 2 records won cost $8.50, 3 records won cost $10, etc.
  • EUROPE, SOUTH AMERICA and AFRICA, plus all others if I forgot anyone: Air shipping charges to Europe, South America and Africa for 1 record is $12. If combining the order for air shipping to Europe, South America or Africa, each record won after the first winner adds $2.50 a record, so 2 records won, cost $14.50, 3 records won cost $17, etc. Surface shipping charges to Europe, South America and Africa is $7. If combining the order, each record won after the first adds $1.50 a record, so 2 records won cost $8.50, 3 records won cost $10, etc.
  • PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR NON-U.S.A. BUYERS: Paypal is an excellent option and so is Bidpay; although Bidpay charges a fee to the buyer. I can also accept an international postal money order, well concealed cash(not recommended, but accepted), or a check in U.S. dollars that is drawn off of a U.S. bank.
  • Please feel free to e-mail me at raspaint@aol.com if you have any questions. Best of luck with your bids and thanx a lot for your time and interest. Rich(raspaint88)
  • RECORD GRADING
  • Sealed: Still factory sealed
  • Mint: The record will not be sealed, but will look unplayed and brand new and will have no marks of any kind
  • Near Mint: Very clean, also no scratches or marks of any kind, but perhaps played a few times
  • VG++: Clean, just a hair under near mint; some very light marks or very light scratches, which will be hard to see at first
  • VG+: Clean with some light marks or scratches on each side that will not effect the play.
  • VG: Might be a bit cloudy and will have light scratches and/or light scuffs. Some VG records will play with a bit of surface noise, but they won't skip
  • G+: More scratches and scuffs than VG, with a few that might be mid-range, but still won't skip. Most likely G+ records will have some surface noise and possibly a few pops here and there
  • G: Cloudy with a lot of scratches and/or scuffs throughout and probably will have some pops and surface noise on much of the record(might look to replace)
  • Fair: Basically close to junk, with a lot of scratches, scuffs, surface noise and some skips(not real pleasant). Generally just very rare, hard to find records sell if graded this low
  • Poor: terrible condition; just trash it
  • JACKET GRADING
  • Sealed: Never opened
  • Mint: A perfect copy with sharp corners; still in shrinkwrap, but no longer sealed
  • Near Mint: Very clean with no imperfections, but no longer sealed and possibly not even in shrinkwrap
  • VG++: Clean, but a hair under near mint; due to 1 or 2 minor imperfections; maybe some very light corner wear, a cut out or a bit of ringwear
  • VG+: very nice shape, but some minor flaws(corner wear, ringwear,a cut out, maybe a name written down)
  • VG: Not as clean as VG+, with maybe some 3 inch seam splits added to a VG+ condition jacket
  • G+: will have noticeable flaws; maybe a bad crease, a small rip, maybe some writing, corner and edge wear or a few seam splits; still useable and together
  • G: As bad as G+ with additional problems and close to being replaced for better
  • Fair: even worse than G with lots of problems and a very poor appearance
  • Poor: terrible condition; just recycle it

On Feb-19-05 at 09:05:27 PST, seller added the following information:

Please note I made a mistake in the above description. The record did not come with an inner lyrics sleeve; just a plain white sleeve. I forgot to remove the inner sleeve note from the previous listing I had done. Records of this sort almost never have an inner lyrics sleeve and this record was not made with one. On a separate note, I should mention that the front of the jacket does have all its original beer stickers intact, with none removed, as shown from this website: http://www.metallipromo.com/metonelp.html. Something else that's interesting is that you'll see on this website another record made by Studded Bracelet Productions, titled, "Metal Militia". It has the same label number as the one I'm selling, but a different track listing. Also a third cover jacket is shown, titled, "Alchoholica", but this one also has the same track listing as Metal Militia. The record I'm selling, simply titled, "Demos"; has a different track listing than the other 2 put out by Studded Bracelet.
