Metallica- Ride The Lightning. This is an original Megaforce pressing from 1984 with the silver labels. The record itself has multiple light scratches that cause background noise. This plays without any skips, sticks, or jumps, but it’s certainly been partied with. The music still plays loud and it’s an enjoyable listen. The sleeve has what appears to be Lars Ulrich’s autograph on the front in black Sharpie. I haven’t been able to get this authenticated, but that’s what the owner told me when I purchased it from them. I have looked online and authenticated autographs from Lars do appear similar to the one on the cover. The back of the sleeve also appears to have Lars signature in a faded light blue marker, and there’s a pen impression of a signature next to James Hetfield’s picture. I have no idea if this was signed by him as well and the ink wore off, but I have tried to get a picture of the impression on the sleeve. The sleeve itself has creasing and edge wear, and the top seam has split approximately 5”. This does come with the original lyric insert, which shows heavy wear, creasing, and splits on all seams. Again, the signature(s) have not been authenticated and I wasn’t the one who had this signed, so I can’t guarantee that they’re legitimate.
