Description
Up for purchase is the first ever, original pressing of Ride the Lightning by Metallica (Megaforce Records, MRI 769).
***The record is VPI CLEANED. It will be packed with bubble wrap and corrugated panels.
***As a disclaimer, I try to be as honest as I can be in explaining the condition of the record. It is sold as is.
I grade this record a VG/VG. Record grading is subjective. Please judge for yourself by reading the description, asking questions, and looking at the pictures.
The Record.
The record has been play tested and the volume was turned up to 11. The record has some audible surface noise during the quieter moments on the record, but is very easy to listen to. There are no skips.
The record has several lights scratches and a few skate marks. The label is scratched up a bit.
Sleeve.
The sleeve is in its original shrink wrap and is unsealed. The opening of the sleeve appears to be a bit water damaged and there is some slight ringwear. Otherwise, the sleeve is in good shape.
Original Innersleeve.
The original innersleeve is included with the record. The adhesive on one side of the sleeve has worn out over time, and the sleeve separates there. There is some wear on the innersleeve itself, but overall, it is in good shape.
