Today you are bidding on a Near Mint super Rare Numbered copy of “Metallica’s Whiplash” 12 inch 33rpm EP record on the Megaforce record label, MRS-04, Marketed by Important Records Distribution Inc., and Made in England for the USA Market.

Metallica Whiplash, is a rare 1984 US-only limited edition 4-track numbered vinyl 12 inch Picture Disc, Made in the UK.

Songs Include:

·       Jump in the Fire.

·       Whiplash (special neck brace remix).

·       Seek And Destroy.

·       Phantom Lord.

On this album located on side A in a white circle that reads “Limited Edition Picture Disc 2789. Just below and to the right is a smaller circle and inside reads, “Featuring Previously Unavailable Neck Brace Remix of Whiplash”.

This LP is Numbered, 2789 (two thousand seven hundred eighty nine)

Etched in the dead wax on side A is:  MRS-04 – A - RE, B-, and STERLING.

Etched in the dead wax on side B is:  MRS-04 – B - RE, A-, and STERLING

I do not know at this point how many copies were made in this numbered format but I’m looking into it.

The record is in Stone Near Mint condition and the poly sleeve is in very good ++ condition with some very minor issues due to its age (openings along the base)

This picture Disc is in superb condition, Near Mint, very crisp pectorals on both sides with excellent artwork. This LP was visually inspected and Play-rated on a Technics SP-25 Quartz Direct Drive Turntable with a M3D cartridge with New Diamond Needle stylus #757-D7, through a Pioneer SX-1250 Stereo receiver and two Bookshelf JBL S26BE Studio speakers and two 200 watt Technics SB-2765 Speakers with excellent results.  These recordings on this LP are excellent version originals. This is just a wonderful addition to any collection.
