*****Keep in mind, at this store you are buying sealed records/promo records/Unplayed promo records/lightly used personal records that came directly from A&M, Polygram/Vertigo record label. We are not thrift store cowboys/cowgirls that are buying other peoples junk to sell. We know the history of our items, everything has been properly stored/looked after with care, sanitized/cleaned/no fingerprints/smudges lol. Buying sealed records from thrift store/yard sale flippers is so risky. Where has the vinyl been? Has the vinyl been exposed to heat, cold, stored properly to prevent the record from warping.*****
Hello, and thank you for viewing my listing. As, mentioned in our other vinyl listings. My wife worked for A&M Canada and I worked for Polygram/Vertigo Canada for many years. This is a non promo stamped 1983 press with the original paper sleeve.
.USA original pressing that I acquired among thousands of other records while working for Polygram/Vertigo. The album has been stored away in my collection for nearly 43 years. I have put the record into a mofi sleeve a few years ago. The vinyl has never been played. The copy is a 2nd run with a matrix runout of Matrix / Runout (Runout A): B- ᐉ MRI069A Matrix / Runout (Runout B): B- ᐉ MRI 069B
The vinyl has the typical unplayed new shine with an "Acetal" hue. The term for a vinyl record that has a cloudy or foggy look is often referred to as "acetal" or "lacquer". These terms describe the condition of the record, particularly when it has not been played and retains its original, shiny surface. Acetals are typically used for demonstration purposes and are known for their high-quality sound and clarity. With the vinyl being stored in the cover for so long, this is a natural formation. The vinyl shows no signs of being played with no marks and spindle wear, of course. The cover still feels fresh, firm, and new as the day it was pressed. This has the plain original inner sleave as this copy was directly from the label and was never shrink-wrapped. This copy was given to me while I was working for Polygram from a wonderful friend who worked in distribution for the label. I have many different copies/releases of this album. So, this particular copy has never been used. I don't even like touching it. The cover is in much better condition than nay sealed copy that I've ever seen as it's been tucked away with care and shows "NO RINGWEAR WHATSOEVER" This is a great copy for a hardcore fan, enjoy!
