Description
Some of you may know me as I have been a fan and collector for 25 years now (Steve Gill) but with a growing family and an aspiration to own my own home again I am selling off some of my collection. I can deal with wants lists and can be contacted either directly or via the ‘Metallica Collectors Page’ on FB. If anyone is wondering where all of the boots are that I was listing, I still have them but the listings were removed by eBay as they infringed copyright laws! Again contact me if you want anything I previously had listed.
Anyway here is a really great signed copy of the first MFN press of Kill ‘Em All. This record is complete including the really rare insert. This is the very first MFN merch insert!! This record was signed on September 17th 1986 at the bands hotel. The person who had it signed showed me photographs of the meeting. He got 3 items signed and for financial reasons he had to let one go. I do not have the photographs as naturally he wanted to keep those but I could see very clearly that this record was the one that was being signed! The blue pen is unique as almost all other signed records from this era are with black ink. The signatures are strong and really bold. There is no fading and this record has always been stored out of light and not displayed. These signatures are some of Cliffs last. This was signed 10 days before the tragic bus accident. The Record has been signed ‘To John!’ by Lars. Any further questions please ask.
All of my records are stored outside the sleeves in archival quality brand new sleeves in a specially designed storage unit. My records are all kept at a constant temperature inside my house.
