This album would be an oddity in anyone’s catalog. Perhapsthe most amazing thing that Lou Reed had enough chutzpah and pull to actuallyrelease this, and as a double album no less! Metal Machine Music is only musicin the technical sense. It’s abrasive noise. If the cops are coming to bustyour party and you want to clear the room quickly, put on Metal Machine Music. It’s a complete curiosity, but it is Lou Reed.This copy’s cover is in good shape; it shows some scuffs where some stickerswere removed but the edges are all intact. There is a catalog sticker on thefront. The vinyl is in beautiful condition and has no scuffs or scratches.
