On offer is a set of Metropolitan Private label box sets, of 13  operas  in historic broadcast  performances given at the Metropolitan Opera. The vinyl is mint to unplayed. The velvet slip cases contain lavishly illustrated booklets of the each performance, and the librettos, all in good to excellent condition. The slip cases are velvet covered n jewel tone colors, they would make an exceptional display on your record shelf. The private label discs were pressed by RCA Victor Red Seal, and are of superb quality.

In the 1970's the Metropolitan Opera Club offered these sets in limited editions to the club membership as a reward for a $100 or more donation to the Metropolitan Opera Fund. The limited editions were issued one at a time in a series as collected here. These are selected historical broadcast performances of the finest interpretations of these masterworks as listed below..These are historical performances that were recorded before stereo, but are of excellent sonic quality.

Stupendous treasures exist in the Metropolitan Vaults of performances of the worlds finest opera singers all accompanied by the Metropolitan Orchestra and Chorus.
