Description
This is a set of four 78 rpm records. The vinyl of the records is covered in light scuffs and light scratches. These are non-feelable marks. There are additionally some barely feelable marks, along with some bubbles on the records. The labels show creases and spindle trails, with side two showing some bubbling at the spindle hole. The last record in the set does not belong in this set. It has the same songs as the record that should be in this set (Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Comin' To Town) but really belongs to a different set of Bing Crosby Merry Christmas records. In other words, the binder and the first three records are correct in that they are part of the 550 edition of this set. Record four was missing from this set so I included in this set the record from the album number 403 which had five records with this being the fifth one with the labels showing these songs as sides 9 and 10. This record has the same songs that the missing record would have had. All records play through with no skips with surface noise, including sizzle and some ticks throughout. The music can still be enjoyed but please don't purchase these records if you expect a totally clean sound. Side four has a chip in the outer edge that does not extend into the play area. The cover shows lots of wear with corner wear, edge wear, paper loss, staining, creasing, lots of bubbling on the inside cover pages on the front and back, writing on a sleeve, and a piece of scotch tape in the middle area of the inside page of the front of the cover. Except for the writing on the first page the sleeves are in nice shape with no splits.
