Description
This is a Vintage 1940s or 1950s 78 RPM Book Set by Merle Travis "Folk Songs Of The Hills", Capitol BD50. Songs include: Nine Pound Hammer, Sixteen Tons, Dark As A Dungeon, That's All, I Am A Pilgrim, John Henry, Over By Number Nine, Muskrat. Book is in Very Good Condition with most of the wear on edges of cover and there are numbers faintly written on the 1st record sleeve page (see scan). The records all look as if they had very little play except the 'John Henry' side has 4 scratches but all play through with slight background noise. Record labels has no signs of spindle marks.
