Description
I've decided to sell off some of my personal collection of rare vinyl and memorabilia. This one is obviously the amazing Megadeth album, Rust In Peace, but it's the UK first press, in awesome condition. And happens to be signed by the line up of the time. I was lucky enough to have a best mate who worked setting up at a few large music venues in the Midlands, but mostly at the NEC in Birmingham. He was always getting me signed stuff from the best bands. He got me this in the early '90s, during one of their visits, but I can't remember if it was the actual Rust In Peace tour or a slightly later one. It's been safely tucked away within my collection ever since. I think I've played it maybe 5 or 6 times over the years. As you can see by the photos the whole thing is in pretty nice condition, with just a few minor scuffs and slight edge wear to the outer cover. The inner sleeve is mint. The record, I would say, is vg+, with very light hairlines to both sides, though these do NOT affect play in any way whatsoever and the vinyl retains it's jet black shine (see photos). The labels look to be mint to mint-. The record will be packed as safely as I can, with mailer, etc, though a nearby buyer would be welcome to pick it up in person for added piece of mind. I'm also listing a massive 40 inch x 60 inch Iron Maiden promo poster which he 'acquired' from the Birmingham Odeon, during the Somewhere On Tour of 86/87, also signed, so keep a look out if interested.
