Description

This auction is for Megadeth’s Cryptic Writings Gatefold 12” Vinyl LP (EST 2297) released through Capitol in 1997.

An incredibly rare item for the most serious of Megadeth collectors, Cryptic Writings has never been repressed on vinyl since the original UK pressing of 1997. 

The original inner sleeve with the lyrics on it (the sleeve has no splitting on any of the sides) is included in this auction. 

In the included picture of the front of the sleeve, there appears to be a dark spot at the very top to the right of the art. This is a result of the lighting, and is not a stain. 

Record will be shipped outside of original inner sleeve/outer sleeve (in an acid free paper sleeve) in order to prevent splitting of any kind during shipping.
