Rare vinyl LP from Vera Gray's movement, mime and music programme.
Take your clothes off, leave your knickers on and lie motionless on the floor as if dead.  If it's not a first date gone seriously wrong then it must be the start of a 1970s movement and mime lesson.    Taking those of a certain age back to freezing cold parquet flooring, a poor sense of balance and pitiful attempts to internalise the inherent meaning of what it is to be a sapling, the music and movement programme was developed for UK schools by Gray and ran until the early 1980s.
Twice a week all schools would tune their assembly hall radios into the BBC to listen to the morning movement broadcast - who needs the World Wide Web when you've got the Wave Wide Wireless?  At the start of each term schools had received the broadcast schedule for the next three months (attached below) so teachers could prep lessons and pupils be made well aware of what they were due to convey, interpret or just feel plain embarrassed about - all guided by the music from the radio and the mime of the teacher.

This album features some amazing contributions from the BBC's Radiophonic Workshop, created by Daphne Oram the creator of the Dr. Who theme.
NB: an acceptable condition old record. Please do not bid if you seek mint CD like audio quality. Thanks. Plays OK on my Rega deck. Sold as is, no returns. Please see my other items for further collectibles.
