Meet the Eels: Essential Eels 1996-2006 and Useless Trinkets: B-Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities, and Unreleased 1996-2007

In 2008, E (Mark Oliver Everett) issued a truckload of backlog Eels material on two separate releases, Meet the Eels: Essential Eels 1996-2006 and Useless Trinkets:  B-Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities, and Unreleased 1996-2007.  Meet the Eels is a greatest hits package loaded to the gills with 24 cuts and includes a DVD with virtually every video the band shot and released for commercial play, compiled and available as a retail item for the first time.   Useless Trinkets has 50 cuts on two CDs pulled from EPs, soundtracks, alternate takes and live versions, as well as a live DVD documenting the band's 2006 Lollapalooza performance.  Together these make an amazing 3-CD/2-DVD box set.
I'm really picky about packaging and the packaging on these two releases just isn't terribly sturdy.  It was very hard to find copies that didn't have flattened, creased spines or corner dings.  I had to go to multiple stores but these are perfect, and I will pack them so that they get to you that way.  They are the US releases of these titles.  They seem to less common than the EU versions.
