Up for auction is arguably the holy grail of The Beatles' Capitol LP production - "Meet The Beatles" in stereo with the 1st pressing labels showing no BMI or ASCAP credits...I have owned three of these, sold one on Ebay last week and now selling the 2nd...at 71 yrs. old it's time to downsize the mancave stuff and I have a lot of it...the LP came in a store baggy which could be correct as the first run LPs did not come in shrinkwrap but a few stores put them in bags...now for the condition...I call the item "pleasing to the eye" or "very presentable"...there is no guaranty for sound quality since it's not play-tested...I quit listening to LP's when the digital era arrived...it looks good or I wouldn't have bought it...let the pictures tell the story...the last photo I took yesterday showing the identical item for sale at Fab 4 Collectibles in New York...their asking price?...$3,500...my item isn't mint and I don't pay New York City rent...own a significant piece of Beatle history and not break the bank...thanks for looking!
