EPIC were not big fans of the LP - that is until they started seeing the sale numbers come in! Note the large "CLEVELAND" mention on the labels - these guys signed them.
A genuine 1st DUTCH issue on the CLEVELAND label. Matrix A5/B4. The vinyl comes housed in an original unbarcoded cover. Nice to see the cover is UNSTICKERED - which means you get to enjoy the full aesthetic without distraction. We also have the original inner lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A bit of a corker and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of play. If you want to get close to those original masters - then you need a clean early copy. And if you're a fussy so and so on the audio front - you could do a heck of a lot worse than spin this copy. It's playing clean throughout - witness this classic in the best possible presentation. 'Heaven Can Wait' - plays perfectly clean. I detected nothing more than a few slight crackles in the intro to . Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) This original cover is looking real neat. Pristine front and rear - totally flat with barely a crease. Hardly any edge wear and nice sharp firm openings. Four pointy corners. The spine is 99% intact with one miniscule compression point. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits.
