Description
Original yellow label with black text. 8 tracks. Lewis, solo piano, interprets boogie woogie styles of some of the premier originators of that style. These artists include Pinetop Smith, "Cow Cow" Davenport, Albert Ammons and others. 1 tracks represents Lewis' style. Very rare.
Cover: Good+ 2- 2" splits on the top edge and 1 - 2" split on the bottom edge. Small creases and some wear on all 4 corners. Light to moderate overall aging.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only a very few times with care. There is a hint of groove noise in a few places. This is very light. Also a few random, very light clicks. The noise described is barely audible and very infrequent. This is an unusually fine pressing for an early Atlantic issue and is in excellent condition. Audibly checked.
