A very scarce Maytals ska title, original pressing on super-rare green vinyl, with the original sleeve. Record is graded as a strong VG, it plays well but as you can see there is some writing on the label & the sleeve has seen better days. This is the actual record that Clive Chin used for the Randy's "Skatalites & Friends" CD reissue, even he didn't have a copy, so I gave him a digital recording of it. I believe "Lost Penny" was never released in the UK. Let me know if you have a problem playing the audio samples, I can email you the soundfiles.
Although I don't list records often on ebay, I've been collecting, selling and trading Jamaican records on and off since 1985. The records in this auction were mostly purchased from shops and sound systems in Jamaica from 1985-1993 & all are original Jamaican pressings unless otherwise noted. All of the discs have been thoroughly cleaned with an ultra-sound machine, this allows every molecule of baked-on Jamaican dust and dirt to be dug out of the grooves without damaging the vinyl. This means that both new-old-stock and used records generally sound much better than they would otherwise.
