Description
This an original first pressing complete with the inner Vertigo sleeve. Matrix - Vertigo 6360 007. I have owned this copy from new - it came directly from someone who worked at Phonogram back in 1970. It is not mint but a very good well cared for copy. Overall in very good condition. The vinyl is shiny and has been subject to normal wear. I love the album - so of course I played it from time to time. There are a few light marks, but it plays great. I have played the record on my Sansui deck and can confirm there are no major issues. Side A has a couple of visible light surface scratches but they do not translate into clicks or noise. However, the there are some light crackles at the beginning of the first track - Smoking the Day Away - within the first minute - but in my opinion they do not distract from the music. Side B looks perfect and plays perfectly. The cover is excellent - there are a couple of small marks on the front where two small labels have been removed - please look very closely at the picture of the front cover (top left, top right and also a small mark on bottom left) and you will just about see the marks. The back cover and inside are perfect. The spine is excellent too - all the lettering is clearly visible. It is from a non smoking household. And above all, you will know the music is excellent and sounds much better the way it was intended to be heard - on vinyl!. Please ask if you have any questions.
