Description

Before the Grammys. Before the arena tours. Before Leviathan rewired heavy music.

This is Remission — Mastodon’s feral, seismic debut. Sludge-soaked riffs, mathy rhythmic violence, and that primal early-2000s Atlanta heaviness that sounded like tectonic plates grinding under your speakers.

Pressed as a double LP gatefold on electric blue vinyl with purple splash, this edition spreads the chaos across four sides for massive low-end impact. The colorway fits the album perfectly — stormy, molten, volatile.

“Crusher Destroyer.”

“March of the Fire Ants.”

“Where Strides the Behemoth.”

No polish. No restraint. Just raw force and ambition bursting at the seams.

For collectors who want Mastodon before the polish — when it still felt dangerous.
