Description

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a PROMO of this wonderful Motown classic & floor filler. This is 'Quicksand', b/w 'Darling, I hum our song', by Martha & the Vandellas, on Stateside no SS250, released  1964. The 'A' side has slight surface noise, but plays & sounds fantastic. I use the 'Record Collector' grading system, & rate the 'A' side as EX-. The smooth 'run off' in the centre of the disc bears the legend 'Vince' (from whom I purchased the record), but this is after the end of the recording & in no way affects the enjoyment. The 'B' side is VG. The label is discoloured through age, & bears a couple of initials in biro (see photo). In addition, a sticker showing the number '1' . This record is from my personal collection, & was the first to be numbered when I used to do that sort of thing back in the day. The record comes in a plain cover, discloured through age.
