Marc Bolan T-Rex very rare tapes

 Imagine that you’re the biggest Marc Bolan fan and you’ve recorded everything you’ve head about him. Well these are the tapes.

This is a collection of twelve cassette tapes made by a very devoted fan through the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. They have captured  Marc talking, singing and reading poetry. They have acoustic versions, electric versions and cover versions. They have mentions of Marc, memories of Marc and cover versions, adverts and contemporary observations.  The best bits are the interviews.  There is a complete book in here.

This is a brilliant and unique collection, and to cap it all, each cassette has an original artwork cover designed and produced in early colour prinout or felt tip  by the fan. The titles of the tapes are her own.

Of the twelve tapes, six are excellent quality, three fine and three a bit muffled, but it’s what’s said and played, not how it’s recorded that is the selling point of these tapes.

These will prove to be a valuable source of Bolan history, of that I’ve no doubt. There’s hours of gold here.
