THE WIZARD / BEYOND THE RISING SUN. Marc Bolan. Decca Records. 1965

 

This auction is for an original copy of Marc Bolan’s very first single released in November 1965 on Decca records F12288.

In itself a very rare record but even harder to find in “near mint” condition, as this copy is.

I have had this single in my collection since the late 70’s. It was in as new condition when I bought it from a collector all those years ago. I have played it only twice during all that time.

 

There have been one or two copies auctioned in recent years, including several fakes, which I can personally guarantee this is NOT. It is 100% authentic.

 

It is very hard to find such a rarity from so long ago in such amazing condition.

The Labels, a & b sides are immaculate. Now writing, sratches or tears. The Decca sleeve is a stock sleeve.
