Description
I am offering for auction this Manfred Mann Chapter Three self titled LP. This is the original UK Vertigo pressing from 1969. The LP is a stereo pressing.
This LP is from a collection I have recently acquired. The previous owner looked after his records. This LP is along the same lines of condition as the other LPs I am currently listing from this collection. The vinyl looks great under light there are hardly any marks on it at all. There are two tiny dinks on side two close together, but that is it. As far as I can tell these do not affect the playing. The LP has been stored in its original Vertigo swirl inner bag and could probably benefit from a good professional clean. I'll give it a wipe over before despatch to the eventual buyer. When I say it needs a clean that is not due to the fact that the vinyl is filthy, it's just that the LP has been stored for so long in its bag that it was almost stuck to it by the time it saw the light of day! Vinyl addicts will understand what I mean! I'm going to rate the vinyl on this a VG+. Like I said with a good clean it could be an EX-.
The sleeve I'm going to grade as VG+ as well. I think that's pretty fair. The only reason for this not getting a higher grading is due to a couple of spine buckles. They are nothing desperate, but they are visible.You can pick them out in the photo. The rest of the sleeve is absolutely immaculate. It has been stored in a gatefold PVC bag buy its previous owner. No rips, tears or seam splits. There is no writing on the sleeve or labels, or any kind of sticker damage. That good.

I think the eventual buyer should be very happy with my description. To be honest this would exceed my ideas of a VG+ LP. You should see some of the stuff I've bought that was supposedly MINT........ Now that's another story.
