Description
This is for an original album by one of the original prog rock bands Man released in 1969 on Pye records. I believe this to be an original first pressing in stereo, although I could be wrong, and the album has the original nicely laminated cover along with the old style UK flipback seams on the reverse. The band tried to shoehorn itself between a prog/psychedelic sound melded with some experimental acid rock. Even though all of the experimentation doesn’t always work, when it does, the songs are masterpieces. The album will best be known for the song “Erotica” which was banned in the UK for featuring a simulated orgasm on the record. This rare debut album of the Welsh band would prove to be not only a classic, but a blueprint for all music that came after it. This classic has covers showing a bit of wear and the vinyl looks like new.
