Description

This is a classic spaceage/bachelor pad/exotica/tiki record released in connection with the '62 Seattle World's Fair by Atillio Mineo.  Amazing graphic front and back have influenced countless graphic designers and was basis for Man or Astroman record cover.  Interestingly I still have the original note that the record seller Jack Diamond enclosed with this record when I bought it many moons ago (remember that dude?!?).  He claimed the record may never had been played - but I think he's overstated the case.  Looks like a solid VG+ to me (Jack may have steered 'ya wrong but I'll try not to).  Anyway, the cover is an amazing shape for a 50 year old record and deserves to be framed and hung on the wall like art. 

I grade conservatively so that you won't be disappointed.  Based on visual grading the LP is VG++. Some discoloration on side 2 probably due to cheaper vinyl used to press this LP.  Otherwise looks very nice except for some super light surface wear (Jack Diamond Music rated this possibly unplayed - if you win, I'll enclose his 12 year old note).    The jacket is mint.  A truly beautiful copy of this record cover.  Frame and hang it on the wall.  If this doesn't sell, that's what I'm going to do with it. 

I use brand new, heavy gauge cardboard LP mailers to ensure the record arrives safely.  I can ship this LP for $3.50 via media mail and $6.00 via priority mail - your choice.
