Description


Founded in Chicago by brothers Rick & Rory (Star) Sizemore in 1978. The Funk, Soul band was named "Seville" until 1980 when they were introduced to Carl Davis (CEO) of Carl Davis Productions and Chi-Sound records. He asked them to change their name because someone else was recording under the name Seville already. Their first hit recording was "Share My Love", written by Rick and Rory (Star) Sizemore and recorded in Universal Studios in Chicago 1982. Magnum Force opened for groups like: The Dazz Band, Heatwave, Lakeside, Enchantment, Slave, Midnight Starr, The Emotions, The Staple Singers, and many others.
