Description



Without any question, it is the Rarest Madonna item from India and is in Great condition.

Madonna's only record ever made in India - Like A Prayer LP. Manufacturing year 1989.

It was NOS (new old stock) but now it is played once just for testing.

Strictly, all Authentic /Genuine/ Licensed items only. Please see Images. All images from actual item only. Also check the video.

Lp jacket is EX condition.

Inner sleeve is Good condition (Some creases, 2 inch split from bottom and half centimeter nick at opening - Please see images).

Record itself is EX to NM and plays same.

Labels are in Ex condition. Labels are not centered properly.

Golden colour sticker is in good condition (some rubbing marks).

Hand written matrix is hard to read but it says A 25844 SAME ER / 25844 B SAME ER .

Apart from made in India, There are two unique things with this lp.
1 A golden color factory sticker reads- COLLECTOR'S ITEM.
2 There was at least one spelling mistake at both sides on Labels (Marketed In is spelled as Marketed Inn - instead of one N, there are two N).

Manufactured and marketed in India by Magnasound (India) Pvt. Ltd. 172/174, Dr. D.N. Road, Fort, Bombay-400 001.

Magnasound had no record pressing plant of their own and there were at least 3 pressing plants in India at that time and Judging from sound quality and these mistakes-Iam sure this Lp was pressed in CBS (Sony) plant in BOMBAY (now Mumbai).


Magnasound were the exclusive licensee of Warner Brothers in India for 15 to 20 years.
They used to manufacture audio cassettes only for first few years and in the 80s they started proucing CDs but only
of Indian artist. That is why you hardly see any Madonna CD made in India with Magnasound Logo but you see plenty of Madonna cassettes with Magnasound logo. After Magnasound's exit, TIPS (an Indian music company) acquired the
License from Warner bros.
