MYSTERY OF SIXES (sic) - (WELL) TOTALLY ME / BLACK MAGIC b/w MYSTERY OF SIXS
7" EP FROM BRISBANE PUNK GROUP - Indy pressing labelled "Custom pressing by EMI (Australia) Limited";
Catalogue number 13359 A/B.
This single comes in its original black & white xeroxed sleeve with a hand-printed blue ink stamp resembling an eye, or a wormhole, or ... whatever! Released in 1982.
Collectors note: this rare and unique cover sleeve is made from a large sheet of paper folded over and stapled (6 staples - 3 each top & bottom - see photo). Another quirk is that the cover reads "MYSTERY OF SIXES (SAMPLE)" but the label has the band using their original spelling - Mystery Of Sixs (no 'e' in the Sixes). Band later changed spelling to ... Sixes.
Vinyl is flawless, label is near flawless, with minor signs of having ever been played once or at most twice. Cover sleeve is in near mint condition. Disc is in absolute mint condition, with not even a hairline scuff mark on either side when viewed under a magnifier lamp.
