This is the original 1970s reissue of Muddy first ever album - originally titled "The Best of Muddy Waters" - and it is !
Probably THE Chicago Blues LP. If you are only ever going to own one - this is it!
Muddy and his gang in their absolute prime - Little Walter, Otis Spann, Jimmy Rogers etc. etc - they are all here and there is not even a remotely dud side.
All of the tracks were recorded in Chicago between 1948 & 1954 - they are: Hoochie Coochie Man, I'm Ready, Rollin' Stone, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Honey Bee, She Moves Me, I Can't Be Satisfied, I Want You To Love Me, Long Distance Call, Standing Around Crying, Still a Fool, Louisiana Blues
The sleeve has minimal shelf and age wear but has no rips, tears or writing.
The LP is in excellent condition - a couple of very minimal surface marks do not affect play - no clicks, sticks, jumps or pops - it rings out loud and clear.
