They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

MUDDY WATERS/FOLK SINGER -- The most talked about true audiophile blues recording finally received the Classic vinyl treatment. Captured from the original 1964 Chess Analog Master Tapes, this is an intimate and spooky studio production. FOLK SINGER is a heralded recording from the King of the Delta Blues equally for its sonic qualities as for its content. Originally released on Chess in 1964, this title has repeatedly surfaced on Audiophiles Top 20 Lists for its superior sound, (this Pressing is unquestionably the best ever) Rare for most true pre-80s Blues recordings.

FOLK SINGER represents a departure from the electric urban Blues sound that Muddy Waters pioneered. It is an all acoustic collection of recordings that illustrates his deep rooted rural Blues influences reminiscent of the recordings he made nearly 25 years prior in Mississippi.

This release features Muddy Waters on Vocals and Guitar supported by the great Buddy Guy on Guitar, Blues Legend, Willie Dixon on Bass, and Clifton James on occasional Drums. Tracks include MY HOME IS IN THE DELTA, LONG DISTANCE, GOOD MORNING LITTLE SCHOOL GIRL, COLD WEATHER BLUES, BIG LEG WOMAN and much more.

MUDDY WATERS KING BEE -

Muddy Waters' final album, KING BEE is the last of the three late-seventies/early eighties-albums produced by Texas blues guitarist Johnny Winter, -- its two excellent predecessors, "Hard Again" and "I'm Ready. 66-year old Waters is backed by virtually the same band that he worked with on "Hard Again" and "I'm Ready", and the arrangements are superb, making even somewhat mediocre songs like the light-weight "Champagne And Reefer" and the generic "Too Young To Know" work quite well. :

There's the classic, shuffling "Mean Old Frico Blues", Muddy Waters' fine take on Slim Harpo's "King Bee", the slow blues "Sad Sad Day", the supremely funky "(My Eyes) Keep Me In Trouble", and the acoustic masterpiece "I Feel Like Going Home" (superb Son House-inspired slide guitar playing by Johnny Winter). The power and brute force of Muddy ripping through these great is something to behold. A good collection of solid, professionally executed blues music which will certainly appeal to Muddy-fans.

MUDDY WATERS SINGS BIG BILL - 180 GRAM LIMITED EDITION

In 1960, when Muddy Waters recorded this album as a tribute to Big Bill Broonzy two years after Broonzy's death, he could be sure of Broonzy's approval. "Oh yeah, Muddy is a real singer for the Blues," Big Bill, the Mississippi foundation stone, was heard to say early on in Muddy Waters' career. Full of confidence after a Best Of compilation released on the Chess label in 1959 and his legendary appearance at the Newport Folk Festival, Muddy set down his own Broonzy songs. It goes almost without saying that such successful numbers as "I Feel So Good" and "Tell Me Baby" are overflowing with a Chicago feeling that gets right under your skin. Muddy's backing band includes Otis Spann, James Cotton and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith.

Track Listings 1.   Tell Me Baby 2.   Southbound Train 3.   When I Get to Thinking 4.   Just a dream (On My Mind) 5.   Double Trouble 6.   I Feel So Good 7.   I Done Got Wise 8.   Mopper's Blues 9.   Lonesome Road Blues

MUDDY WATERS - FATHERS & SONS

FACTORY SEALED DOUBLE 180 Gram LIMITED EDITION LP SET

On the cover is Michelangelo's "The Creation Of Man," where God reaches out his hand: the intentions of the makers of Fathers And Sons could hardly be more illustrative. The enigmatic message of this album is clearly that these prodigal sons, these one-time gods of the Chicago blues, are to be given a helping hand to their comeback. And this was sorely needed, for although the Chess label had achieved good sales figures one year previously with the LP Electric Mud, they didn't really produce a convincing blues session. In order not to land once again in the pseudo-psychedelic outback with distorted electronic sound and wah-wah effects, the two legendary artists Muddy Waters and Otis Spann were joined by the three musicians who made up the Butterfield Blues Band & MIKE BLOOMFIELD. With this artistic core of fathers and sons and a few choice side musicians, the resulting blues recording rolled along without a hitch. A whole set of pieces were set down, enough to fill an LP, and a 30-minute live session adds further luster to the excellent studio recordings. The characteristic crisp and raw Waters studio sound is followed by a charismatic stage show which bubbles and boils with a red-hot blues atmosphere.

Track Listings 1.   All Aboard 2.   Mean Disposition 3.   Blow Wind Blow 4.   Can’t Lose What You Ain’t Never Had 5.   Walkin Thru The Park 6.   Forty Days And Forty Nights 7.   Standin ‘Round Crying 8.   I’m Ready 9.   Twenty Four Hours 10.   Sugar Sweet 11.   Long Distance Call 12.   Baby Please Don’t Go 13.   Honey Bee 14.   The Same Thing 15.   Got My Mojo Working Pts. 1 and

MUDDY WATERS - LOST TAPES 180 GRAM PRESSING

These recently discovered performances showcase a true blues legend at the height of his powers. The songs are culled from two live appearances in 1971 by Muddy with a heavyweight ensemble of backup musicians, including George "Harmonica" Smith, Pinetop Perkins, Sammy Lawhorn, Pee Wee Madison, Calvin "Fuzz" Jones and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith. Though Muddy Waters in concert in those days was better than Waters on record, not many of his shows seem to have been taped, and that only boldfaces the value of this previously unreleased set of live recordings from 1971.

Track Listings Honey Bee (Live) Hoochie Coochie Man (Live) Walking Thru The Park (Live) Trouble No More (Live) Just To Be With You (Live) Muddy's Introduction To 19 Years Old (Live) She's 19 Years Old (Live) Long Distance Call (Live) Mannish Boy (Live) Crawlin' Kingsnake (Live) Got My Mojo Working (Live)

 MUDDY WATERS - I'M READY
